Hello!
This week was pretty weird! Not a whole lot happened early. But we were finishing up Thursday night and saw about 12 guys or so playing a game of football in one of the parks in our area. They were all black so they looked at us kind of weird when we asked if we could play, but they let us.... Maybe we could get a lesson in. And as we were playing some other guys from Texas jumped in as well. But as we were playing one of the kids from Texas went for a super deep pass and ended up catching the ball....... as he ran into a pole. He split his eyebrow open. Literally looked like hamburger. You could see the tendon that lifts your eye brows. Super gross but awesome at the same time. The ambulance came and got him then we left. But that was crazy.
We taught a girl this week named Stephanie. She is 27 and has a kid that is about 4. She is pretty shy and wasn't comfortable coming to church this week. But our lesson went super smooth. She really has a desire to grow closer to God. We have another lesson with her on Wednesday. So we will see if she has been reading and praying.
